Is FAR-SEE 2026 in person or online?

Fully online. All sessions stream over Zoom Webinar. There is no physical venue, no travel, and no accommodation requirements.

What is the time zone?

All times are in Indian Standard Time (IST, UTC +5:30). A time-zone converter will be available on the Programme page closer to the event.

Who can submit an abstract?

Anyone working on AI/ML or its applications to the physical and engineering sciences — researchers, faculty, engineers, postdocs and students. There is no career-stage restriction.

How long should the abstract be?

250–400 words, in English, optionally with one figure (≤ 5 MB). LaTeX and Word templates will be linked from the call for abstracts.

Will talks be recorded?

Subject to speaker consent. Recordings, if available, will be shared with registered attendees post-event.

How is the join link distributed?

The Zoom Webinar link will appear in your dashboard 24 hours before Day 1 and will also be sent to your registered email.

Will I receive a certificate?

Yes — a certificate of participation is emailed to registered attendees after the conference closes.

Are there fee waivers?

PRL, ISRO and Department of Space staff register free with institutional email verification. For other waiver enquiries, write to the secretariat.

What is the refund policy?

Full refund until early-bird close, 50% until standard close, none after. See Terms for details.
